Translating nature into a parametric object

Parametric design object, see-through tissue, material: acrylic glass
Fascinated by the compexity and fragility of the human iris, the extraction of the essentials by intuitive hand drawings led to a complex parametric design structure. Laser cut and glued together, a fragile, see-through layer came into existence, adabtable fro further use in architectural design.
